Reliable Metal Structures, Installed with Precision

Interchain coordinates the supply and installation of metal structures for functional, industrial, and commercial applications. From site assessment and fabrication planning to assembly, alignment, finishing, and handover, we deliver a controlled installation process focused on safety and structural integrity.

From Technical Requirement to Completed Metal Installation

Metal structures require accurate measurements, suitable materials, controlled fabrication, correct connections, and disciplined site installation. Interchain supports clients with the planning, procurement, coordination, and installation of metal structures according to the approved purpose and technical requirements.

Our work may include support frames, platforms, canopies, access structures, gates, protective barriers, light structural assemblies, equipment supports, and other fabricated metal elements. The scope is confirmed after assessing loads, dimensions, site conditions, interfaces, corrosion exposure, access, and finishing requirements.

Where structural design or certification is required, the work is executed based on approved engineering documentation and in coordination with suitably qualified technical professionals. This ensures that fabrication and installation follow the intended design rather than relying on assumptions at site.

Our Process

We establish the intended function, dimensions, location, expected loads, environmental exposure, access conditions, preferred finish, and available engineering information.

The installation area is surveyed to confirm measurements, fixing points, interfaces, lifting access, obstructions, and any operational constraints.

Drawings, sketches, connection details, materials, finishes, and responsibilities are reviewed. Where required, structural calculations or engineered drawings must be approved before fabrication.

Specified steel sections, plates, fasteners, anchors, welding consumables, coatings, and accessories are sourced with attention to quality and traceability.

Components are cut, formed, drilled, welded, and prepared according to the approved information. Key dimensions and workmanship are checked before dispatch to site.

Depending on exposure and specification, components may receive cleaning, primer, paint, galvanizing, or another agreed corrosion-protection system.

The installation sequence, lifting requirements, work area, permits, tools, and safety controls are confirmed before assembly begins.

Components are positioned, levelled, aligned, anchored, bolted, or welded as specified. Connections are progressively checked to maintain geometry and stability.

The completed installation is checked for dimensions, alignment, connection quality, anchoring, coating damage, and general workmanship. Identified issues are rectified.

The structure is handed over after final acceptance, together with available drawings, material records, warranties, maintenance guidance, or inspection documentation relevant to the scope.
